Credentialing and Contracting Specialist

Full-time, fully remote role (U.S. based only).

About the Role

Healthcare Revenue Group (HRG) has handled medical billing, credentialing, and payer contracting for practices nationwide for 26+ years. Every team member is U.S.-based, and our work runs inside each client's own systems. We need a credentialing professional who can hit the ground running and join our close-knit and collaborative team.

Pay

$21–$25/hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track provider enrollments and re-credentialing applications with commercial and government payers
• Manage contracting with insurance carriers from start to finish
• Maintain CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, and payer portals to ensure accuracy for every provider you own
• Serve as the point of contact between payers, providers, and our internal team to keep onboarding and updates moving
• Document work and track every file's status inside each client's systems and payer portals

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on medical credentialing experience on the provider side (required)
• Bachelor's or associate degree (required)
• Must live in the U.S.
• Sharp attention to detail and strong follow-up and communication skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple deadlines
• Business attire and a clean background for live video interactions with clients
