Credentialed Veterinary Technician Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Direct work flow on the floor
• Cultivate an engaging work environment and maintain our strong hospital culture
• Work cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospital
• Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills
• Conducts staff meetings
• Provides opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience
• Mentors technicians within the department
• Resolves conflicts in a professional and humble manner
• Refines and implements protocols
• Ensures that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff

Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT (FL CVT Preferred)
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• Team leadership experience
• Passion for Veterinary Medicine
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications

• Full Time, evening and Saturday rotation required
• $26.00 - $35.00 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status
