Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with routine appointments, surgeries, and patient care.
- Collect and process diagnostic samples, administer medications, and prepare for surgeries.
- Record detailed patient histories and manage pharmaceutical inventories.
- Take and interpret radiographs, including dental X-rays, and perform ultrasonic dental cleanings.
- Monitor general anesthesia, dress wounds, and assist with procedures like catheterization and ear flushes.
- Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
- Educate clients on preventive care, dental hygiene, nutrition, and more.
- Collaborate with the team to create a positive work environment and assist with onboarding new employees.
- Champion the company brand by promoting services like grooming, daycare, and retail offerings.
Requirements
- Veterinary Technician licensure in this state (required).
- 1–2 years of clinical experience (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and a passion for building lasting client relationships.
- Ability to lift 20+ lbs. and work in a fast-paced, sometimes emotionally demanding environment.
- Interest in using technology to improve veterinary care and client experience.
- Fear Free and HABRI certification or willingness to achieve them (preferred).
- Highly adaptable and enthusiastic about team-based patient care.

Pay
Pay range: $20 USD - $24 USD (determined based on experience, skill set, location, and other factors).
