Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor

About the role

VCA Hualapai is seeking an Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join their leadership team. The position offers a pay range of $29.00-31.00 per hour, with details determined by the employer. The location is 1165 S. Hualapai Way, Las Vegas 89117, and the schedule is full-time, Wednesday-Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Take the skills and experience from years in the profession and apply them to the hospital.
• Perform duties including venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical examinations, patient assessment, surgical preparation, assisting with dentistry, laboratory work, pharmacy management, patient recovery, and compassionate care for hospitalized patients.
• Lead and supervise the Veterinary Technician Staff.
• Implement department policies and procedures.
• Schedule staff and conduct team meetings.
• Enforce charge captures.
• Accurately handle and record controlled drugs.
• Record keeping.
• Marketing.
• Facility maintenance.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
