Credentialed Veterinary Technician - CVT or LVT - Andover Animal Hospital

About the role

Andover Animal Hospital is actively seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly skilled full-time Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or experienced technician to join and support our thriving, well-established 9-Doctor veterinary practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Surgical preparation, monitoring, and recovery
• Anesthesia induction and maintenance
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
• Performing dental prophylaxis, charting, and radiographs
• Phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and laboratory sample processing
• Collecting and analyzing diagnostic samples (e.g., cytology, urinalysis)
• Providing compassionate patient nursing care and pain management
• Educating clients on pet health, post-operative care, and preventative medicine
• Accurate medical record keeping
