Credentialed Veterinary Technician - CVT or LVT - Chaska Valley Veterinary Clinic

About the role

Chaska Valley Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to support their 4-doctor practice. Techs work 30-40 hours per week on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• Administer medications and treatments
• Perform diagnostic tests and record patient data
• Care for hospitalized patients
• Prepare and maintain medical records
• Handle administrative tasks such as billing and scheduling

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota driver’s license
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of veterinary pharmacology and anatomy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The pay range for this position is $24-27 per hour.
