Credentialed Veterinary Technician - CVT - LVT - Animal Care Center
About the role
Voted Best in the Area for Veterinary Clinics and Grooming Facilities, Animal Care Center is seeking a full-time or part-time Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our collaborative 3-doctor team in Minnesota's beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area.
Responsibilities
- Inducing anesthesia
- Intubating patients
- Maintaining anesthesia during procedures
- Monitoring surgical and anesthesia procedures
- Managing dedicated technician appointments
- Participating in after-hours emergency on-call program from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekends
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
- Experience in anesthesia and surgery
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in anesthesia and surgery techniques

Pay
Pay Range: $18-$23 per hour based on experience
Schedule
Full-time technicians are scheduled either four days or five days each week and enjoy a full one-hour lunch break every shift. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, no regular evenings, weekends, or holiday shifts.
