Creator and Athlete Management Team Lead TikTok Operations
About the Role
The Creator & Athlete Management Lead for Sports will have extensive experience leading teams and managing high-value sports accounts. This role requires a strong people leader with a coaching mindset, capable of developing high-performing teams and maintaining strong morale. The lead will adapt global business priorities for Sports to the North America market, setting strategy and tactics to manage the highest-impact creator and athlete accounts and ensure their sustained growth within the vertical.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team focused on growing a dedicated portfolio of Sports creators in North America, driving product adoption, and developing vertical case studies with high-impact creators.
- Enforce a narrative—internally and externally—of TikTok as a destination for Sports.
- Demonstrate expertise in content strategy development and execution, with a proven ability to negotiate and manage high-value partnerships with creators and top athletes across sports and agencies.
- Develop scalable strategies for partner acquisition and retention, ensuring alignment with business goals while improving partner engagement and satisfaction.
- Lead and establish a strong cross-functional (XFN) network with teams across Sales, Marketing, Public Policy, and Comms to drive broader business impact and meet creator and athlete needs (e.g., elevation opportunities, onboarding strategies, product development).
- Establish and maintain continuous feedback loops between creators and product teams, applying a test-and-learn approach to translate business goals into impactful initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Sports Creator Programs team to support the rollout and adoption of priority feature education, programs, and product adoption initiatives with managed creators in the NA region, contributing to measurable success metrics.
- Partner with the managed creator support team to understand and advocate for creator support needs, monitoring sensitive, urgent, or repeat issues affecting managed Sports creators' on-platform content performance.
- Identify key case studies and examples from managed Sports creators in the NA region to highlight in education initiatives and creator marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing large teams with a proven track record of driving business impact in the creator and content ecosystem, ideally within the sports industry at top content, entertainment, social media, or influencer platforms or agencies.
- Highly collaborative leader with a strong track record of working across teams, organizational structures, and geographies to drive impact.
- Ability to develop scalable frameworks and approaches.
- Exceptional creator/partner management capabilities and the ability to develop these skills within your team.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment as a consensus builder across disparate business units with occasionally conflicting KPIs.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills.

- BS required; MS/MA/MBA considered a plus.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $115,520 – $258,400 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package, which may include additional discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
