Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine creative briefs to translate marketing objectives into actionable plans.
- Develop, write, and refine copy for various consumer marketing materials, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the New York Post brand voice.
- Review creative outputs to ensure alignment with approved briefs and brand standards, providing structured feedback focused on clarity, effectiveness, and alignment with objectives.
- Support continuous improvement of creative quality and consistency across deliverables.
- Partner with marketing and analytics teams to support A/B testing of creative concepts and messaging, contributing to performance improvement based on results and insights.
- Support brand consistency across consumer touchpoints and channels, ensuring alignment between digital, print, CRM, and other marketing communications.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in creative strategy, copywriting, brand strategy, marketing, advertising, or related disciplines.
- Experience working in or with in-house creative teams, agencies, or integrated marketing environments.
- Demonstrated experience developing creative briefs and guiding creative execution.
- Strong ability to translate business and marketing goals into creative direction.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Familiarity with consumer marketing principles and audience segmentation.
- Understanding of performance marketing concepts such as conversion optimization and campaign testing.
- Ability to provide structured, actionable feedback on creative work.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in direct response marketing or performance-driven campaigns.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including paid media, CRM, and social platforms.
- Experience working with in-house studios or creative production teams.
