Creative Strategist — US Market
About the role
The Creative Strategist at SCRL is responsible for owning the paid social creative for the US market and driving the next stage of our US growth. This role involves making winning ads and building the systems to keep them coming.
Responsibilities
Own creative strategy for the US market end-to-end.
Your primary measure of success will be winning creatives that acquire users at scale.
Translate performance data (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, ROAS) into creative directions and testable hypotheses.
Run weekly testing plans and pull out clear learnings.
Build the insight foundation: trend reports, competitor analysis, audience research.
Collaborate closely with motion and graphic designers from ideation to final cut.
Build frameworks for concept variation, testing velocity, and creative refresh cycles to avoid fatigue.
Give clear, actionable feedback through rounds of edits with internal and external creative partners.
Requirements
You find winning concepts and scale them, not one-off executions.
You build systems around what works.
You have a sharp eye for what makes consumers stop and convert.
You stay close to the platforms and know what's performing.
Qualifications
4–6 years in creative strategy or performance marketing.
A portfolio of paid social creative that drove real acquisition results.
Proven ability to turn audience insights into creative directions that convert.
Deep fluency in Meta Ads Manager and platform-native creative formats.
Experience owning creative strategy, not just executing someone else's.
Strong writer: briefs, post-mortems, and concept rationale should all come naturally.
A track record of giving feedback that improves output without slowing teams down.
Comfortable pulling and interpreting performance data independently.
Skills
Deep creative production experience for Meta’s ads platform.
Experience in high-volume, test-and-learn creative environments.
