About the Role
Surface Experts of San Francisco North is hiring a technician to focus on our growing low-impact bathtub and sink refinishing business, in addition to learning many of our spot repair techniques to support the broader business. We use a roll-on method that minimizes impact to the unit, resident, and technician—we do NOT spray refinishing glaze.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing tubs (cleaning, removing old caulking, sanding away flaking glaze, masking)
- Applying glaze and re-caulking
- Leaving the space better than we found it
Most tubs take between 2 and 3 hours to complete.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently—driving to job locations, meeting with property maintenance teams, and performing work
- Some experience in services/trades
- Strong English language speaker
- Comfortable wearing a respirator mask for extended periods
- Attention to detail and service-minded
- Licensed to operate a passenger car with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs, and kneel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tub reglazing or installation
- Experience working in facilities maintenance
