About the role

We are seeking a Creative Director to lead and evolve the Pair Eyewear brand. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and involves balancing brand and performance in creative work.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve Pair Eyewear's creative vision across all channels, ensuring a cohesive and differentiated brand
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to align creative strategy with key business goals and growth priorities
  • Lead the concepting and execution of integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Own creative vision and direction for photoshoots, video, product launches, and key brand moments
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing creative team across design, copy, content, and production
  • Provide clear direction, thoughtful feedback, and mentorship to elevate both individual and team output
  • Own creative resourcing, prioritization, and budget allocation across initiatives
  • Establish and refine processes that improve speed, quality, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Manage external partners, freelancers, and agencies as needed
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines and creative standards to ensure consistency across all touchpoints
  • Champion a high bar for creative quality while enabling speed and iteration

Requirements

You must have 8+ years of experience in creative roles, with experience leading teams (in-house, agency, or both).

You should have proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

You need strong portfolio demonstrating creative direction across brand, digital, and physical experiences.

You should have experience working with performance marketing teams and understanding how creative drives results.

You must have experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., generative image, video, and copy tools) to accelerate creative production, testing velocity, and workflow efficiency.

You need exceptional visual design sensibility, attention to detail, and storytelling ability.

You should have experience leading photoshoots, video production, and large-scale campaign execution.

You must be a people-first leader who develops talent, gives clear feedback, and raises the bar for creative output.

Qualifications

You must have a strong point of view on creative and be confident advocating for it, while collaborating effectively across teams.

You should be data-informed, using insights and testing to continuously improve creative performance.

You must be operationally strong, able to manage priorities, move quickly, and deliver high-quality work.

Skills

You need to be strategic, with experience in both brand and performance creative.

You should have experience building or scaling a creative team in a high-growth environment.

You must be comfortable working across a wide range of aesthetic registers (polished brand down to raw UGC).
