About the role
The Creative Director will shape the creative vision and execution of Glossier, guiding the look, feel, and voice of the brand across all touchpoints. This role sits at the center of how our brand comes to life, balancing vision with humanity to create meaningful work that resonates with our community.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Glossier’s creative direction across all channels
- Lead the development and execution of 360° campaigns
- Bring launches to life through compelling storytelling and visual identity
- Translate cultural insights and community signals into fresh, relevant concepts
- Establish and uphold creative standards that ensure all work is on-brand, best-in-class, and emotionally resonant
- Create culturally defining brand moments, products, and symbols
- Oversee creative output across photography, video, copy, design, and experiential
- Refine creative processes and workflows to enable speed, clarity, and creative excellence
- Lead visual merchandising in owned retail and wholesale, product packaging, and merch concept and design
- Shape and evolve Glossier’s brand narrative
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive business impact
- Reimagine retail as a storytelling platform and cultural touchpoint
- Lead the creation of immersive, ownable physical environments
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Creative team
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and People to ensure alignment and effective execution
- Elevate both the work and the individuals behind it
- Evolve the end-to-end creative operating model
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in creative roles within beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or adjacent consumer categories
- 4+ years of experience in senior creative leadership
- Proven track record of developing and executing breakthrough creative work
- Exceptional people leadership skills
- Strong creative vision and taste
- Experience overseeing multi-channel creative execution
- Collaborative, cross-functional experience
- Deep understanding of the Glossier brand, customer, and community

$235,000.00 - $305,000.00 per year
