Key Responsibilities
- Serve as mental health support within school community
- Cordination and delegation of intern responsibilities
- CIS and DYCD documentation
- Facilitation of scheduled individual supervision of interns
- Direct service provision both during school day and afterschool
- Reports to Site Director on day to day operation of the program including any relevant intern information.
- Attend regular meetings, clinical supervision with LCAT Supervisor and trainings within CIS.
Requirements
- Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), Art Therapist (ATR)
- Supervisory experience
- Positive leadership skills
- Effective time management
- Strong written and oral communication
- Program schedule operates 10-6 pm, Monday-Friday; this position follows the NYC Public Schools calendar including Summer Rising Program
- Experience in school-based programs (multiple location in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jamaica, Queens)
- Experience in afterschool programming
- Ability to provide engaging art based recreation and SEL large group activities
- Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Experience working with interns a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Compensation
Salary Range: $65-70K; commensurate with experience and bilingual proficiency
