Creative Arts Therapist
About the role
The Creative Art Therapist will facilitate expressive arts-based clinical support services across multiple outpatient programs. This role helps clients process emotions, build coping skills, and enhance their overall treatment experience. Collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team ensures services align with each client's clinical needs and treatment goals.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate creative arts therapy groups using art, music, dance, and other expressive modalities based on client needs and program goals.
- Develop and prepare session plans, activities, and materials for scheduled groups.
- Observe client participation and communicate relevant clinical observations to the treatment team.
- Collaborate with therapists, clinical leadership, and program staff to support treatment planning and service delivery.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment during all sessions.
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations and follow established safety protocols.
- Participate in required supervision, team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
- Travel between assigned outpatient program locations as scheduled.
- Work approximately 15–20 hours per week based on program needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies, ethical standards, and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a clinical or behavioral health field required.
- ATR-BC, MT-BC, or BC-DMT preferred; candidates actively pursuing board certification will be considered.
- LPC or LCSW preferred, but not required.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position is part-time, Monday–Friday, with local travel between outpatient sites required.
