CRE Business Development Officer
About the role
The Business Development Officer generates new, profitable financial relationships, focusing on commercial real estate lending. They provide consistent, high quality service to expand the current business customer base while meeting and/or exceeding sales objectives. They interact directly with Business Banking and Commercial Real Estate Lending Officers in presenting CRE loan proposals to mortgage banking referral partners and potential Bank customers.
Responsibilities
- Generates new, profitable financial relationships in commercial real estate lending
- Provides consistent, high quality service to expand the current business customer base
- Maintains and develops an average $30 million pipeline
- Meets and/or exceeds established sales goals
- Builds and maintains an average $30 million pipeline
- Expected annual loan origination volume of $75MM to $100MM per year
Requirements
- Five years proven and progressive related sales and marketing experience
- Knowledge of commercial lending practices and lending approval process
- Excellent public relations and sales skills
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Well-developed decision-making and persuasion skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a business, economics, finance or related degree or equivalent experience
Skills
- Thorough knowledge of real estate finance
- Marketing and sales programs
Pay
Compensation structure: base + commission
Schedule
Works remotely and independently from the Dallas, TX region.
