About the Role
Training will be provided for the following areas:
- Crane inspections, maintenance, and installation of SRD overhead, jib, and gantry cranes
- Electrical and mechanical print reading and troubleshooting
- AC drive wiring and programming
Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly crane inspections
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical crane systems
- Operate mobile equipment including forklift, tele-handler, man lift, and overhead cranes
- Work at heights
Requirements
- Strong safety record
- Industrial mechanical and electrical experience with a willingness to learn
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining AC drives and PLC circuits
- Industrial electrical knowledge including 3-phase AC motors and controls
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance of production equipment
- Experience with electrical testing equipment, arc, and MIG welding
