For our client, a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space, we are seeking a CPU Design Methodology Engineer to lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Define and develop methodologies and tools for efficient SOC building
- Identify and address inefficiencies in front-end chip implementation
- Conduct front-end design quality checks and reviews for high-quality RTL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the chip development process
- Propose automation solutions for SOC design enhancement
Requirements
- Masters in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in chip design with a focus on SOC integration and design automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in RTL design (Verilog), verification (UVM, System Verilog), and SOC design flows
- Strong coding skills in Perl, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Experience in synthesis and physical design is a plus
- Good interpersonal skills
Pay
$168,000 – $310,500 annually
