CPQ Functional Analyst Lead

About the role

The CPQ Functional Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing quoting workflows, product configuration logic, pricing methodologies, and approval processes. They work closely with business stakeholders, IT partners, and solution architects to drive operational excellence and improve the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and configuration designs.
• Optimize product configuration rules, pricing structures, and quoting workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner closely with technical teams to support and enhance CPQ–SAP integrations, including master data synchronization, pricing updates, and order management workflows.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot integration issues and ensure seamless end-to-end data flow.
• Configure and maintain FPX system components such as product models, pricing logic, rules, approval matrices, and UI layouts.
• Work with Revalize toolset, including: DDF (Dynamic Data Framework), PDM (Product Data Management), Workflow & Approval Management.
• Lead workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, user story development, and process optimization discussions.
• Provide training and documentation to end users, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, and validation of CPQ updates.
• Support issue triage, production support, and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure CPQ solutions meet compliance, data integrity, and security standards.

Requirements

• Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 8 years related experience.
• Strong understanding of CPQ business processes, including configuration, pricing, quoting, discounting, and approvals.
• Hands-on experience integrating CPQ systems with SAP (SD, MM, or Variant Configuration modules preferred).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Experience with Revalize FPX CPQ platform.
• Background in the HVAC industry or related complex manufacturing sectors (industrial equipment, engineered solutions, etc.).
• Knowledge of product configuration models, BOM structures, or engineering rules.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or others).
• SAP C4C integration and SAP PI/PO integration experience.

Pay

This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $138,000 - $183,750 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
