Key Responsibilities
- Leverage an existing book of business in the meat/poultry industry to drive immediate revenue growth and expand the company's footprint across the foodservice channel.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that increase product penetration across key distributors, regional operators, and multi-unit accounts.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across smoked proteins, cooked meats, marinated offerings, and other value-added categories.
- Maintain and strengthen existing relationships through continuous communication, proactive support, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with internal operations, marketing, and R&D teams to deliver customized solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Monitor pricing trends, category dynamics, and competitor activity to inform strategy and positioning.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and documentation to support internal planning and customer alignment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of foodservice sales experience, preferably in protein, meat, or grocery-adjacent categories.
- A strong, current book of business is required, including established relationships within foodservice distributors, brokers, and operator accounts.
- MUST HAVE MEAT & POULTRY SALES EXPERIENCE.
- Demonstrated success in account management, territory growth, and new business development.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Located in Dallas, TX or willing to relocate (relocation assistance available).
