CPG Sales Director - Grocery, Retail, Food Service

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage an existing book of business in the meat/poultry industry to drive immediate revenue growth and expand the company's footprint across the foodservice channel.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that increase product penetration across key distributors, regional operators, and multi-unit accounts.
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across smoked proteins, cooked meats, marinated offerings, and other value-added categories.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing relationships through continuous communication, proactive support, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, marketing, and R&D teams to deliver customized solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Monitor pricing trends, category dynamics, and competitor activity to inform strategy and positioning.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and documentation to support internal planning and customer alignment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of foodservice sales experience, preferably in protein, meat, or grocery-adjacent categories.
  • A strong, current book of business is required, including established relationships within foodservice distributors, brokers, and operator accounts.
  • MUST HAVE MEAT & POULTRY SALES EXPERIENCE.
  • Demonstrated success in account management, territory growth, and new business development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Located in Dallas, TX or willing to relocate (relocation assistance available).
