CPA / Staff Accountant

We are seeking a CPA or Staff Accountant to join our accounting and tax practice in Eunice, LA. This full-time, in-person role offers long-term career growth and potential future ownership opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, S corporations, and fiduciaries.
• Assist bookkeepers and clients with QuickBooks support.
• Participate in the compilation and review of financial statements.
• Support bookkeeping and general accounting functions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or currently completing an accounting degree.
• Strong interpersonal and computer skills.
• Willingness to relocate or commute to the Eunice, LA area.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Previous income tax preparation experience.
• QuickBooks experience.
• At least 1 year of GAAP-related experience.
• CPA certification or CPA-track candidate.
