Key Responsibilities
- Manage all general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes, preparing timely and accurate financial statements.
- Oversee billing, collections, vendor payments, and expense reporting with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain reconciliations for all key accounts, ensuring financial integrity across global entities.
- Support revenue recognition and cost allocation linked to infrastructure operations, datacenter leases, and hardware spend.
- Streamline accounting workflows and introduce automation to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and internal controls while coordinating with tax and audit partners as needed.
- Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to align financial processes with operational realities.
- Maintain clear, organized documentation and assist in preparing management reports and audit support schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or similar credential preferred).
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in fast-paced or scaling organizations.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience with multi-entity or international accounting is a plus.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently in a distributed team environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
