Court Services Supervisor 2 (Civil)
About the role
The Court Services Supervisor 2 position is under the general direction of the Court Executive 2b, Civil Division Manager or designee. This role involves assigning, monitoring, evaluating, leading, and overseeing the work activities and staff resources of a team or work unit consisting of professional, paraprofessional, and support staff employees.
Responsibilities
- Assigns workloads and specific duties to staff or team members
- Provides excellent customer service to a broad range of diverse and multi-lingual court users
- Directs and coordinates work between units or teams
- Communicates human resources policies, rules, or regulations to team members
- Schedules team members' work hours or vacation time
- Conducts formal work performance evaluations with staff
- Evaluates unit or team performance
- Mediates staff conflicts
- Reviews and corrects work of staff and checks written reports for accuracy and completeness
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience, one year of which shall have included experience in case management, enforcement of court orders, and/or supervision, monitoring, and intervention of offenders
- Substitution: Additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits
- A master’s degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of general experience as indicated above
- A law degree from an approved American Bar Association law school may be substituted for two years of general experience as indicated above

Pay
The salary range for this position is $74,551.38 to $129,437.61 for Schedule A, and $74,551.38 to $122,965.72 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Schedule
The Judiciary offers a strong opportunity for growth and currently offers a hybrid work schedule, where this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings.
