About the role
The Riverside Superior Court seeks a Court Reporter to provide court reporting services using traditional stenographic or voice writing equipment within assigned courtrooms or other court proceedings. The ideal candidate shall possess a current Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) certificate issued by the Court Reporters' Board of California, possess real-time skills and report court proceedings at a rate of 200 words per minute.
Responsibilities
- Provide court reporting services using traditional stenographic or voice writing equipment within assigned courtrooms or other court proceedings.

Requirements
- Possess a current Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) certificate issued by the Court Reporters' Board of California.
- Real-time skills and report court proceedings at a rate of 200 words per minute.
- Geographic Availability: Travel may be required to any location within the region, as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a reporter in a court environment.
- Freelance reporting experience.
- Willingness to accept an Intermittent Court Reporter position with Riverside Superior Court.

Benefits
- Sick Leave: 40 hours available after 90 days of employment, expiring at the end of each calendar year and renewing at the beginning of each calendar year.
Pay
Non-Exempt, FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.
Schedule
M – F variable - no guarantee of hours.
