About the role
The Court Administrator oversees the daily operations of the Durango Municipal Court, supervising a small team and coordinating essential functions to keep the court running smoothly. This role requires strong organizational skills, thoughtful customer service, and clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Manage, train, and support a small team of court clerks
- Oversee the daily flow of court cases
- Coordinate court calendars and schedules
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external partners
- Prepare the courtroom and manage court records
- Handle financial operations for the court
- Support special programs and troubleshoot court software issues
Requirements
- An associate degree in paralegal studies, business administration, public administration, or a related field, with three years of administrative legal support or court operations experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Pay
The starting pay for this position is between $54,904 and $60,394 per year, with opportunities for growth up to $76,865 per year based on long-term growth and performance within the role.
