Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
• Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station’s service area.
• Perform related customer service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum Experience: Six (6) months courier experience preferred; ability to demonstrate area knowledge.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to lift 50 lb and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lb with appropriate equipment or assistance.
  • Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of the station’s service area preferred.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries in accordance with FMCSA guidance.
• Job Conditions:
  • Neat appearance required for customer contact.
  • Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations.
  • Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle type and have a good driving record as per company policy.
  • Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely.

Pay

$25.65 – $38.93 per hour (range reflects expected compensation for this position; actual pay determined by experience, tenure, market level, performance, schedule, and work assignment).

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
