About the role
Operates company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages, checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards, provides coverage for assigned routes within the station’s service area, and performs related customer service functions.

Requirements
- Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
- Minimum Experience: Six (6) months courier experience preferred
- Area knowledge demonstrated
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
Skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
- Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
Benefits
Job Conditions: Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Must meet and maintain the qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
Job Conditions: Constant alertness and safe working manner required.
Pay
$23.42 / hour ($23.42 - 35.54 / hour)
Schedule
FULL TIME SWING: Tuesday - Saturday, Variable schedule.
