About the role

Operates company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards. Provides coverage for assigned routes within the station's service area. Performs related customer service functions.

Requirements

• Monday - SDR variable shift with day off during the week (TBD)
• Ramp/SIDA may be required within 90 days of hire date
• Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
• Minimum Experience: Six (6) months courier experience preferred
• Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge
• Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Ability to lift 50 lbs, ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs, good human relations and verbal communication skills, thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred, demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods, must be at least 21 years of age, ability to read and speak English sufficiently, neat appearance, meet and maintain qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations, requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations, must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned, must have good driving record as outlined in policy, non-covered safety-sensitive position, ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned
• Must have good driving record as outlined in policy
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
• Must have good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Must have thorough knowledge of the station's service area
• Must have demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
• Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance
