About the role
Drive a company vehicle to deliver or pick up client samples and packages within a specified area. Directly reports to Client Service Supervisor, Client Ambassador, or Director of Operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate on a routed schedule for pick up and/or delivery of materials within established timeframes
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
- Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles
- Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition
- Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with company regulations
- Use automatic routing or location software, such as a GPS, provided by the company
- Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards is maintained
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Schedule
Flexible part-time schedule with workdays occurring Monday through Saturday, based on assigned routes and business needs. Shift hours will vary and may begin between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with end times ranging between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Weekly schedules and daily hours are route-dependent and may vary from day to day.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record

- Punctual, reliable, and exercises good judgment
- Ability to interact with clients as a responsible representative of the company
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment
Vision Requirements
- Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches/50 centimeters or less)
- Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet/6 meters or more)
- Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area up, down, left, or right while eyes are fixed on a given point)
