Central Hydraulics, a Singer Industrial company, is hiring a driven, hands-on Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate with strong mechanical aptitude and a high work ethic. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position in an active warehouse and hydraulic assembly environment. This Role Combines Hydraulic hose assembly and fabricationCounter sales and customer serviceWarehouse operations and inventory support You will work directly with customers who need hydraulic hose repair and replacement solutions. This requires mechanical skill, urgency, accuracy, and a solutions-oriented mindset. This is a hands-on role requiring you to be on your feet, working with tools, equipment, and customers consistently throughout the shift. Warehouse temperatures may vary seasonally. Key Responsibilities Assemble and fabricate hydraulic hoses and fittings using crimping machines, hand tools, and power toolsInterpret work orders, parts lists, and specifications accuratelyPerform quality control inspections using calipers, tape measures, and precision toolsTroubleshoot and recommend hydraulic solutions to walk-in customersUpsell and cross-sell related hydraulic and industrial productsMaintain inventory accuracy, stock shelves, and support receivingKeep a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse workspaceMeet daily productivity and service expectations Required Qualifications Experience using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipmentMechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issuesExperience in hydraulics, fluid power, industrial distribution, construction, manufacturing, automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment preferredCustomer-facing sales or service experience preferredWarehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferredStrong attention to detail and quality control standardsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated with strong time management skills What We’re Looking For A self-starter who does not require constant supervisionSomeone who works with urgency and takes ownership of resultsA dependable, high-energy team playerA professional who understands productivity and customer satisfaction drive business success If you’re looking for a stable, growth-oriented industrial career where your mechanical skills and work ethic matter — we encourage you to apply.
