Counter Sales Specialist

Your Responsibilities and Requirements

• Maintain the unloading of all materials into the facility; ensure accurate reporting of material received.
• Ensure proper storage of materials to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Resolve discrepancies between invoices, packing slips, and receiving reports with accounting.
• Manage merchandise stock levels, adjacencies, and presentations; sign, assort, and present merchandise in all departments.
• Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store meetings, walk-throughs, and audits.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the store: take out trash, dust, mop floors, clean restrooms, associate rooms, and stockrooms.
• Perform all other duties within the store as directed by the store manager or upper management.

Compensation
Pay range for this position is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Requirements
- Education/Training: High School degree, some college preferred. - Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in sales or merchandising roles. - Product knowledge of hardware-related and/or plumbing products, along with a willingness to learn. - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekday and weekend shifts. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.
