About the role

The Counter Sales Person assists customers during the sales/purchase process and responds to inquiries professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product knowledge and awareness
  • Market products and suggest replacements/alternatives
  • Work in a safe and constantly aware manner

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • One year experience in electrical industry or product knowledge
  • Strong mathematical abilities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Clear communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Teamwork and customer service orientation

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Use computer equipment
  • Bend, climb, push, pull, including maneuvering at heights and in tight spaces
  • Routine lifting and carrying of work-related materials up to 70 lbs.
