Count Room Representative

Pay

$17.00 | Shift Details: 5am-1:30pm Guaranteed 40 hours pay per week.

Benefits

• Guaranteed 40 hours pay per week
• Transfers drop devices from casino floor to the Count Rooms
• Performs daily count of multiple cash drops on the casino floor
• Sorts, counts, straps, and records the results of daily counts in accordance with departmental and regulatory policies
• Compares and contrasts totals from physical count to those entered in the computer as well as the numbers recorded on currency counters
• Prepares reports recording any discrepancies from the computer totals to the actual physical totals, while notifying the Lead, or Manager of any variance between the two
• Performs minor repairs and maintenance on Count Room equipment
• Maintains an ethical work habit in adhering to regulatory, departmental, and company policies
• Performs duties as assigned by the Count Room Lead or Manager

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push, and pull in order to complete drops and counts in a timely manner
• Must be able to carry a minimum of 25 lbs. up to 60 feet while performing the slot drop
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, for up to ten hours per day
• Must be able to work for prolonged periods of time in a secured area while under surveillance
• Money handling experience is helpful
• Must be able to work any weekends and holidays

Skills

• Knowledge of regulatory and departmental policies
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, carrying, standing, and working in a secured area
• Ability to handle money and maintain accuracy in counting and reporting
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
