Counselor - School Age Child Care (Midlothian Program Locations)

About the role

The YMCA of Greater Richmond seeks a Before & After-School Child Care Counselor to work at multiple locations including Evergreen Elementary, JB Watkins Elementary, the Manchester Family YMCA, and the Midlothian Family YMCA. Hours are flexible, ranging from 6:45am-9:15am and/or 3:30pm-6:15pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

- Create fun, engaging activities to support kids' growth and development. - Supervise and inspire a group of school-age children. - Serve as a trusted mentor and daily highlight in a child's life.

Requirements

- Positive attitude and passion for working with kids. - Reliable, creative, and energetic. - Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. - Six months of experience is required, but enthusiasm is key!
