Counselor/Case Manager
About the role
The Behavioral Health Network, recognized as the 10th Top Places to work in MA by the Boston Globe, is seeking a Counselor/Case Manager for a new behavioral health clinic in Hyde Park, MA. The ideal candidate will have strong empathy and compassion for women in recovery from addiction and their children.
Responsibilities
- Perform admission and intake screenings.
- Aid in developing treatment plans.
- Meet with clients weekly to assess progress and identify areas needing additional support.
- Assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust strategies as necessary, documenting all actions according to established protocols.
- Educate individuals and groups about alcohol and drug abuse, harm reduction, mental illness, and available community and self-help resources.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- Associate’s Degree or higher in related field (preferred).
- At least one year of experience in substance abuse or behavioral health counseling (required).
- Familiarity with Internet, word processing, and email systems (required).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Benefits
- Full-time position.
- Competitive pay: $25.00 per hour.
Pay
$25.00 per hour
Schedule
- Friday and Saturday: 12pm-8:30pm
- Sunday and Monday: 8am-4:30pm
- Sunday - Thursday: 10am-6pm
