Counselor-Case Manager

About the role

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Counselor in Holyoke Transitional Support Services (TSS) program at Behavioral Health Network!

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance and direct counseling for individuals served.
• S supporting individuals’ growth, independence, and safety.
• Developing and facilitating treatment plans and diverse psycho-educational groups.
• Providing crisis intervention and emergency services, when needed.
• Aiding individuals with aftercare planning by providing referrals and access to appropriate agencies.
• Providing transportation for individuals, as needed.
• Completing program specific documentation such as intakes, treatment plans, comprehensive assessments, aftercare plans, discharge summaries, and counseling notes.
• Collaborating with the Holyoke TSS staff & outside providers to deliver high-quality, sound clinical treatment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (required).
• Associate’s Degree or higher (preferred).
• At least 1-2 years of experience in human services (preferred).
• At least one year of experience working in substance treatment environment (required).
• Bilingual in Spanish & English (preferred).
• Familiarity with Internet, word processing and email systems.
• Working knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations.
• Valid Driver’s License & car available for work purposes (required).

Pay

$22.50/hr

Schedule

Full Time: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm, or 9:00am-5:30pm
