Counseling support: Work Study (Fall)

Responsibilities

• Aid in administrative tasks including uploads, filing, and organization.
• Maintain the waitlist for the clinical team as needed.
• Expand and develop resource lists.
• Assist with tabling events as required.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Attend staff meetings and agency-sponsored trainings as assigned.
• Order and stock counseling snacks within a budget and meet inventory needs.
• Organize, clean, and reset playroom materials.
• Provide child care for counseling and parent support groups as needed.
• Adhere to child abuse reporting guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Clinical Program.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Work Study Degree path in social work, social services, human services, education, psychology, or other social service education preferred.
• Ability to operate a personal computer using e-mail, word processing, and other applications related to assigned duties.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
• Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality as directed by HIPAA and 42 CFR.
• Ability to maintain organization and prioritize tasks.
• General knowledge and experience with serving culturally diverse populations.
• General knowledge of the impact of trauma.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (may include some weekends).

Travel
