Counsel, Litigation

Responsibilities

• Support and manage an active docket of litigation matters and collaborate on case strategy
• Represent the company in smaller litigation matters, including regulatory inquiries and subpoenas
• Manage outside counsel for complex litigation, providing strategic guidance and coordination
• Provide litigation-related guidance and risk assessments to internal stakeholders
• Support development of discovery and litigation hold processes for the company
• Update management on litigation matters alongside Senior Litigation Counsel
• Maintain communication with insurance carriers and third-party entities

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active legal license in a US jurisdiction
• 5+ years of litigation experience in a top law firm or in-house legal department
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with expertise in litigation drafting
• Prominent track record of managing and resolving litigation matters
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage complex workloads under tight deadlines
• Resourceful, collaborative mindset with a positive attitude and strong teamwork capabilities
• Excellent negotiation skills and sound judgment with clear communication

Pay

$120,000 – $150,000 annually
