About the role

The Cottage Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential care facility for children.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the residential care facility
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
  • Manage staff and volunteers to ensure quality care and safety
  • Develop and implement programs to support the emotional and developmental needs of the children
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals involved in the children’s care

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Social Work, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in child care or related field
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$X per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with some evening and weekend shifts required
