Cost Estimator (Manufacturing)

About the role

G Greenwood Fabricating & Plating, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Estimator to support estimating, quoting, and production data activities in our manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate manufacturing cost estimates
• Review drawings, specifications, and production requirements
• Enter and maintain estimating data within ERP systems
• Organize quote documentation and supporting project information
• Help ensure accuracy of production, labor, and material data
• Cook up estimate revisions and track project changes
• Support reporting, data collection, and process improvements
• Aid in identifying discrepancies between estimated and actual costs

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience in manufacturing, estimating, project coordination, administrative support, or data management preferred
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, systems, and technical information
• Mandatory Microsoft Excel proficiency
• ERP system experience preferred
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing, estimating, project coordination, administrative support, or data management preferred
