About the role

AFM is seeking a skilled Flowforming Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flowforming processes and materials science.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize flowforming processes for various materials and geometries.
• Conduct material tests and analyze data to improve process efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new flowforming equipment and procedures.
• Document and communicate process improvements and best practices to the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in flowforming or similar manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and materials science principles.
• Experience with flowforming equipment and materials testing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is a plus.
