Cost Accounting Consultant

Bridgepoint Consulting, An Addison Group Company, is currently seeking Accountants at all levels of experience with strong cost accounting and inventory experience who want to join our growing Atlanta team, tasked with supporting our clients in a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs. You’ll be a great fit if you have experience in: 5–8 years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience with mid-size companiesPrevious experience with manufacturing accounting, inventory management, and building and maintain job costing modelsDevelop, maintain, and analyze standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead.Partner with plant managers and operations teams to identify cost savings opportunities and improve manufacturing performancePerform inventory accounting, including reconciliations, reserves, and valuation.Lead or support physical inventories and cycle count programs while investigating inventory discrepancies.Preparing and/or reviewing monthly account reconciliationsDemonstrating a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, experience researching technical GAAP issues within a manufacturing environmentAbility to adapt to various client environments, and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization Required Skills You’ll Need: Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting or Finance degrees or relatable business degreeStrong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client serviceAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detailBusiness partnership and communication skillsProblem solving and critical thinkingHungry, Humble, Smart Attitude Highly Preferred Work experience with both public and private companiesExperience in middle-market manufacturing organizations ($50M-$500M revenue preferred)Hands on experience with ERP systems such as:Microsoft DynamicsNetSuiteEpicorInforSAP Business OneOraclePlex Preferred A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBAPrior employment by a Big 4 or other nationally recognized accounting firms What We Have To Offer Competitive Salary and quarterly bonusesFull benefits: Medical, Dental, and VisionExcellent 401K employer matchFun, exciting, fast-paced environmentStrong commitment to work/life balance and the opportunity for extended periods of time offComprehensive onboarding and on-going personal and career development Why #TEAMBRIDGEPOINT: Bridgepoint Consulting provides a collaborative and energizing work environment for our team of experienced professionals.
