Accounting Consultant

Role: Accounting Consultant Location: Greenwood Village, CO (in-office) Pay rate: $42 - $50 / hour, DOE Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k) We are seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant to support a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, and treasury functions. This is a hands-on role requiring strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, multi-entity experience, and the ability to operate independently in a complex financial environment. Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAPManage reporting calendars, deadlines, footnote support, and audit documentationPrepare consolidation entries, elimination entries, and intercompany reconciliations across multiple entitiesIdentify and resolve intercompany discrepancies and maintain related schedules, policies, and templatesResearch and document complex accounting matters including leases, revenue recognition, debt, equity, and business combinationsPrepare accounting memos and position papers supporting significant accounting judgments and electionsMaintain internal controls documentation and support control testing activitiesServe as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating requests and ensuring timely delivery of supporting documentationSupport daily cash positioning and maintain short- and medium-term cash forecastsAssist with bank reporting, covenant compliance, and lender deliverable preparationMaintain detailed debt schedules including principal, interest, rate resets, fees, and hedging activity Systems: Sage Intacct, Excel Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting requiredStrong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP including technical areas such as ASC 842, ASC 606, and business combinationsProven experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accountingExperience supporting external audits and maintaining internal controls documentationFamiliarity with treasury functions including cash forecasting and debt managementProficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
