About the role
The Corrugator Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision, direction, and leadership of one assigned shift of hourly employees within the Corrugator department. Key responsibilities include training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating employee performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; promoting safety, quality production, and teamwork; and resolving conflicts.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and lead a shift of hourly employees in the production of corrugated boxes.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback and coaching.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Communicate operational information clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization.
- Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance standards.
- Resolve workplace issues and conflicts.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to set a positive example through superior behavior and attitude.
- Experience leading teams and motivating employees.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including 1st (7a-3p), 2nd (3p-11p), 3rd (11p-7a), 12-hour shifts, and weekends as needed.

Pay
$69,500 - $92,600 (USCORE)
Schedule
This position is eligible to participate in IP's annual incentive plan and is available on various shifts including 1st (7a-3p), 2nd (3p-11p), 3rd (11p-7a), and 12-hour shifts, as well as weekends as needed.
