Corrective Action Specialist

About the role

This will be a full-time, long-term contract role onsite in Bridgman, MI. You would report directly to our client's management. The position offers a great core schedule of 4/10s.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support department activities that use Continuous Improvement programs, including use of Corrective Action Program software, coordination of meetings, program monitoring, procedure review and revision, and management of related information.
  • Complete Condition Evaluations and other lower-level corrective action program assignments; help perform Causal Evaluations, and other higher-level corrective action program assignments.
  • Participate in self-assessments, benchmarking activities, and the development of training as assigned.
  • Communicate with applicable industry contacts through participation on conference calls, attendance at industry meetings, or establishing networking contacts at other stations.
  • Support the update of performance Indicators and other information reports that are visible on a station level.
  • Represent the department at Initial Screening Committee and Operating Experience Screening Committee meetings, and process the items screened in the software subsequent to the meetings.

Qualifications

  • An associate or bachelor's degree or a technical training certificate.
  • One (1) year of relevant nuclear plant experience
  • Experience with a Corrective Action Program software or equivalent program,
  • Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing

Pay

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25/hour to $40/hour.
