Corrections General Industries Factory Foreperson - SCI Cambridge Springs

Responsibilities

• Worker Instruction: Train inmate workers in production methods, equipment use, and computer programs for daily operational reporting
• Safety Oversight: Maintain a secure work environment by conducting searches, monitoring movement, and managing tool and supply inventories
• Operational Tracking: Use SAP to review plant activity and submit purchase requests to support efficient operations
• Production Planning: Analyze records, help set production goals, and recommend equipment improvements for better output
• Factory Support: Carry out additional duties needed to ensure smooth and effective operations

Requirements

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience in the production of goods or services; or An associate degree in industrial technology, operations management, business administration, or a related field; and one year of work experience in the production of goods or services; or An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes one year of work experience in the production of goods or services.

Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement. Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.

Schedule

Full-time employment, 40-hour work week. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
