Correctional Worker - TCC (Hourly)
An hourly position in the Missouri Department of Corrections is more than a job. It's a calling. Pay
$20.70 per hour
Responsibilities
- Assist new hire staff with New Employee Orientation
- Assist ITO/SOSA with Cyber training (e.g., AS400, GPS, ReAct, MOCIS, CJIS, MCHCP)
- Maintain training forms and files until employee completes OJT
- Collaborate with ITO in identifying new hires for discipline requests as needed
- Collaborate with ITO regarding attendance issues and unprofessional conduct
- Assist with OJT program
- Identify staff who require make-up training dates if needed
- Facilitate staff connections to supervisors
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- All employees, both full-time and part-time, are required to attend and complete the Basic Training classes administered by the Department of Corrections
- By assignment, a position may require:
- Ability to complete Defensive Tactics and Standard First Aid/CPR training during Basic Training
- Ability to complete and maintain firearms certification training
- Possession of a valid vehicle operator's license
- All requested documents must be received by the closing date listed
