CORRECTIONAL PLANT SUPERVISOR, DEPT OF CORRECTIONS
About the role
This position is responsible for the direct supervision of two Supervisor of Building Trades, CF, and second level supervision to Bargaining Unit 12 staff. The position assists in the operation, maintenance and repair of the facilities and equipment at the institution and SCC administered Conservation Camps as directed.
Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing, and directing the work activities of the institutional maintenance supervisors and staff in all aspects of the repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance of the institution and camps.
- Aids in the preparation, submittal, and follow-through of Capital Outlay Projects, Special Repair Projects, and Section 6.00 Projects.
Requirements
The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of progressively responsible experience in facility maintenance and operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and a valid California Class “C” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of HVAC systems, and ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

$7,830.00 - $9,738.00 per month.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
