WATER AND SEWAGE PLANT SUPERVISOR (CORRECTIONAL FACILITY)

Responsibilities

• Supervises the operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and Water Booster Supply Station
• Completes daily lab tests to analyze proper operating parameters and ensures water quality meets permit requirements
• Operates and maintains equipment at the Water/Wastewater facilities
• May perform minor plumbing associated with these facilities
• May instruct, lead, or supervise incarcerated people, wards, or resident workers
• Performs other duties as required

Requirements

• Must possess a Grade II or higher Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certificate

Working Conditions

This position is located at the California State Prison in Corcoran, CA, which is accessible from Highway 43. Conveniently located one hour from Lemoore Naval Air Station and Sequoias National Park, and two hours from Yosemite National Park and Pismo Beach.
