Correctional Medicine Physician Opportunity – Full-Time

Role Overview

A Correctional Internal Medicine Physician provides comprehensive medical care within a county correctional system, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including nursing staff, APPs, pharmacy, radiology, dental, and laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care during night shifts (6pm-6am), with a schedule of 14 shifts per month.
• Work independently without APP supervision, managing low patient volumes of 2-3 patients per hour.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure quality healthcare services.
• Participate in a mission-driven environment serving underserved populations.

Qualifications & Skills

• MD or DO, board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure.
